Time to Keyboard (TTKB)
Last updated: August 5, 2026
TTKB helps your clan see when everyone is getting online. To do that, the clan features sync a small amount of data through our servers. There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, and we never sell data. Features you don't use collect nothing — the iMessage cards and widgets work without an account at all.
Clan sync uses Sign in with Apple. We receive a random Apple account identifier and — only if you choose to share them — your name and email. Hide My Email is fully supported. We use this solely to keep your account and your group membership; there is no password, and we never see your Apple credentials.
This is stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in the United States), with a Cloudflare Workers layer that delivers notifications and Discord messages. It is visible only to approved members of your clan.
If you link Discord, we store your Discord user ID, username, and avatar so the TTKB bot can show your clan who's on and let you set your time with commands like /ttkb right from your server. The bot only posts in servers where your clan installs it. Unlinking removes your Discord identity from our database. TTKB never sees your Discord password.
If you link Steam, we store your SteamID and periodically check Steam's public API for whether you're in a game, so your clan can see "on now · game." We only read what your own Steam privacy settings make public, and you can hide the game name with the "Share what I'm playing" toggle. Unlinking removes your SteamID and stops all checks. TTKB never sees your Steam password.
Heads-up, by design: your clan doesn't see that you're playing until after the time you set — the Sneaky Game rule.
To deliver "who's on" alerts, quick replies, and the lobby countdown Live Activity, we store your device's Apple push tokens. Alerts respect the quiet hours you set. Tokens are removed when you sign out or turn notifications off.
Your personal "tonight" widget plan, preferences, and saved defaults live on your device (and in the app's private App Group storage for the widgets). Messages you send with the iMessage extension travel inside iMessage — Apple delivers them, not us.
You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Account), which removes your account and all synced data. Leaving a clan removes you from its roster; unlinking Discord or Steam deletes those identities immediately. You can also email us and we'll remove everything promptly.
TTKB is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
