Who we are

The Frozen Dead Guy Days app is operated by Bosco Consulting & Productions LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used. Questions: privacy@frozendeadguydays.com.

What we collect

Event registration: the name, email address, optional team name, and event you enter when you register to compete.

Waivers: your typed name, the date and time you signed, and which version of the waiver text you agreed to.

Coffin race entries: the team name, captain, and details you submit.

Your plan: the events you star are saved on your device so your plan is there next time.

Grandpa chat: the messages you type to the Grandpa Bredo assistant.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

How we use it

Registration and waiver information is used to sign you up for festival events and to keep a record that you agreed to the waiver. It is stored on your device and shared with the festival organizers when you register.

Grandpa chat messages are sent to our AI providers so the assistant can answer you and speak aloud (see "Third parties" below). They are used only to generate the reply and are not used to identify you.

Third parties

The Grandpa assistant is powered by Anthropic (the Claude AI model) for its answers and by Speechify for its voice. Your chat text is sent to these services to produce the response. It may also search the public web to answer time-sensitive questions. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy and speechify.com/privacy for their policies.

We never sell your personal information.

Data retention & your choices

Information saved on your device stays until you delete the app or clear its data. To request deletion of anything shared with the festival, email privacy@frozendeadguydays.com.

Children

Frozen Dead Guy Days is an adult festival and this app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be noted in the app.
